Music is a universal language. Between rummaging through my dad’s CD collection or long radio fueled drives with my mom, throughout most of my life, music has always been there. In the body of work, Adaptations, I bring the audio media into a physical one, pulling inspiration for various song lyrics, giving the musician’s art to visual fruition.
