Throughout my life I have danced with self destructive tendencies. Whether from my incessant picking at my face to make it “perfect” or my own self inflicted punishments, my body has become a plane of scars. My body of work, Growth, Regrowth re-contextualizes the implications of the markings on my body as plants of pain and new growth.
